Ingredients (For 1 kg Chicken):

For this Chicken/Mutton Biryani, you’ll need 1 kg of chicken, 1 kg of double polished biryani rice, 200 grams of yogurt, and 250 grams of oil. You’ll also require 100 grams of salt, 3-4 tomatoes, 50 grams of fresh coriander, and 4-5 green chilies. For the spices, you’ll need 6 grams of Shah Jeera (caraway seeds), 2 liters of water, and 1 lemon. Additionally, have 250 grams of fried onions, 4-5 boiled eggs, and 10 grams of whole garam masala.

Preparation:

Wash 1 kg chicken or mutton, drain, and mix with MDF Biryani Masala, 200g yogurt, and 250g oil, then set aside. Soak 1 kg rice for 1-2 hours. Boil 4L water with 100g salt, 10g whole garam masala, and juice of 1 lemon. Add soaked rice, boil for 2-3 minutes, then drain. In a pot, layer half the rice over the marinated meat, add 50g coriander, 4-5 green chilies, 250g fried onions, and 4-5 boiled eggs, then top with the remaining rice. Heat 50g oil/ghee with 6g shah jeera, pour over rice, cover with a cloth, seal the lid, and cook on low flame for 2 hours. Mix gently and serve hot. Enjoy the Meal!
